At DSM, employees are given domain specific roles and responsibilities based on their skill sets and education. If any function or domain specific training needs are required, they are given to the employee for both its value to the individual and organizational development. General training programmes on domain expertise and soft skills are given from time to time.

There are various performance assessment tools and the assessment centre at DSM, uses these appraisal systems for promotions, training and career development. Besides these, the performance appraisal interviews are also used as a tool for coaching and employee development.

We have a well thought out induction process where all the employees compulsorily undergo this induction program, before starting with their respective function responsibilities. Our intranet site is a clearing house of all our employee details, online appraisals, project details, case studies and data libraries.
